How to brush your wig?
2022-May-26-Thu 12:00:00:AM AUTHOR:AniceKissYou guys all know that we get matting, and we get tangles from wearing wigs all day. The blog article is going to share how to get the most tangles out with the least amount damage possible. Before we jump into the tips, you need to get a wig detangling brush or a wide-tooth brush.
1. Brush your wig when it’s dry
When a wig is wet, it should not be brushed, especially if it is made from human hair. Wet wigs are particularly fragile and prone to damage. To prevent permanent stretching and damage, make sure your wig is completely dry before brushing.
2. Brush your wig on flat surface
Don’t brush you wig either on a wig head or on yourself. Because if you brush your wig when you’re wearing your wig, you’ll brush down your hair and you’re literally pulling the hair. When you’re brushing your wig on flat surface, you’re actually putting all the pressure down into the surface, and you’ll cause less pulling and less damage to your wig.
3. Brush from the bottom to the top
Remember always start brushing you wig the ends first and then work your way up, especially with curly wigs. Because we really want to try not to pull or mess up any of the curl pattern.
